The 5 C’s of Teacher Mental Health and Wellness
If you are an educator who desires to maximize your capacity to meet the demands of teaching, support the needs of students and parents, as well as get to strong academic outcomes, this training is for you. In this session, we will discuss the “five C’s” that will help to develop and sustain your mental health and wellness which is fundamental to your longevity, vitality and success.

Training objectives:

1. Explore different factors that adversely affect mental health and wellness in the school setting

2. Learn important strategies for supporting teacher mental health and overall wellness

3. Create a “wellness” plan for use throughout the school year

Vickie Echols, M.Ed.
Teacher Trainer @Momentous Institute
Vickie has served over three decades in the field of education as a teacher, campus administrator and director of communication in Texas schools. In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree and teaching certificate in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University, Vickie earned a master’s degree from James Cook University in Australia supported by the Rotary International Fellowship program.
Tina Robertson, LCSW
Director of Clinical Training @Momentous Institute
Tina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and joined Momentous Institute in January 2016. Her previous experience includes 20 years of work in the mental health field through various direct practice, community outreach and organizational leadership roles. She received her bachelor’s degree in English/Political Science from Jarvis Christian College and her master’s degree in social work from University of Texas-Arlington.
